Add Scheduling to Your Website and Watch Your Calls-to-Action Increase Dramatically

We’ve noticed – as you may have – that a good percentage of our websites submission forms are spam or from people trying to sell their services. There’s not much you can do about this, other than spend time weeding them out. Several months ago, we added a “Schedule an Appointment” button to our website, and it’s been by far the the most successful call-to-action we’ve ever had.

This enables potential clients to choose a day and time that’s convenient for them to talk (based on our calendar activity). After they do this, they are sent a calendar invite with a Zoom link – and we are sent the same. This allows us to talk directly to the interested party and we’re able to talk about their challenge and offer possible solutions – in real time. This is a far more effective form of communication than trading emails or texts back and forth. And, if you know your stuff and present yourself in a friendly and engaging manner (in other words, be yourself?), the chances are you’ll win the project. We write this because it’s been the case for us, and we’d like to help you achieve similar success.

We have since built in scheduling components for dozens of all types of clients, and they’ve met with similar success. There are two applications we use for scheduling: first is Calendly, a free service that allows you easily to set up an account, link your calendar and add a link to your website. It’s easy and quick to implement. The other service we use is Squarespace Scheduling. Squarespace’s product is more robust and offers some fantastic features, and priced depending on the features you’re looking for. By adding Squarespace Scheduling to your website, clients can quickly view your availability and book their own appointments or classes. They can even pay online and reschedule with a click. We have the tools that take the hassle out of online scheduling, booking and payments.

Promote your availability.
