Branding and Website Design Helps Fairfield CT Attract New Businesses
We’ve been consulting with Fairfield Connecticut’s Community & Economic Development team for the past five years, helping to develop programs that stimulate and encourage economic development – resulting in businesses relocating to Fairfield. We just rebranded their Choose Fairfield CT program with an updated logo and design standards for all digital and print applications, as well as social media initiatives. A modern and engaging new website promotes the many business benefits Fairfield offers, via original photography. statistics, census data, a real estate property finder, business resources, news & updates, and more.
We designed the website in Squarespace using their latest Fluid Engine editor, going beyond the previous website’s design and functionality. Designsite is an original Squarespace Expert, and we recommend the platform so our clients and continue to easily maintain the website in-house, as well as get insightful analytics, and 24-hour support. We also work with the Fairfield economic team to design print and electronic communications and have set standards for email and social media marketing.
Designsite provides additional marketing communications including to the Fairfield Economic team including digital and print marketing communications, search engine optimization (SEO) and analytics, inbound marketing strategies, Google and LinkedIn ad campaigns, graphic design, marketing content, scheduling, and tradeshow graphics.
An Innovative Real Estate Finder
The most popular feature of the website is the real estate property finder, mentioned above. It’s a powerful tool for visitors to search and filter available properties that best suit their location needs. Individual property pages contain photos, and pertinent information including address, lease and sale price, and available space. Also displayed is a Google map of the property, via an API connected from Google Maps.
In order to achieve this in Squarespace, we uploaded the client Microsoft Excel file to Google Drive. We then connected it to Squarespace via coding to display it as an embedded table. CSS styling enabled us to present the file in a visually appealing style, consistent with the website design standards. Now, whenever the Excel file is updated, it will be updated to the website in real time. This innovative coding will save the client countless hours and money spent in the long run in updating the database. We’re proud of the results and look forward to bringing this capability to clients looking to connect a database of information to Squarespace in a highly-designed fashion.
