Branding and Website Design for Community Sailing of Fairfield CT
One of the great pleasures we have is working with and helping local Fairfield businesses with their marketing communication needs. Since 1999, we've been the local firm helping a variety of businesses exceed their marketing goals.
We provided branding and logo design, as well as website design and development for Fairfield Community Sailing, based in Southport CT. Operated by its members, under the auspices of the Fairfield Parks and Recreation Department, they're based at the Town Dock in beautiful Southport Harbor.
The goal was for the branding to reflect the high-end, yet friendly organization, and this was achieved by a hand-drawn sailboat and a modified font treatment that reflects a nautical feeling. We then designed the website, which includes beautiful, original photography, custom fonts, all in a minimal setting, recalling the open harbor water the boats and kayaks ride.
Original video includes a tutorial on sailing; photo galleries; safety tips and other information downloads, calendar of events, timely updates, as well as a way to reserve boats. The website has received praise from board and community members for its ease of use and functionality.
